Matthew 28:18 “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me”
Adam’s and Eve’s dietary choices did not turn the planet over to satan. By divine design we remain in a garden of choice and each day we get to choose against the tree of “world knowledge” and to partake of the “Tree of Life”. To eat from the first tree is a slow death, to partake of the latter tree releases us from the need to understand, into a walk of faith. Through disobedience they ate the right to choose life or death and we retain it or choose to submit it to His Lordship. We can continue to eat from the tree that feeds our soul with two fruits (good and evil) or we can learn to partake of the “Life Tree” that empowers our spirit as a “Tree that speaks” with one voice from the Throne. Down through the ages God retained His sovereignty and ruled this planet through prophets until the Prophet, the promised Seed, the Son of Abraham and David, came to receive all authority.
Hebrews 1:1-2 “In the past, God spoke to our forefathers by the prophets at many times and in many ways. In these last days, he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe”
Now we walk in union and communion as heirs with “The Heir of All Things”. Our enemy is defeated and all that remains of him is a “carnal voice and imagination” that lies and twists the truth. You can hear those words and see those pictures that he paints with a crooked brush if you choose to eat from the “TV Tree” but I warn you, it will pollute your soul and devastate your spiritual life. Guard you and your children’s “eye gate” and “ear gate”. Make your home a place where His voice is heard, and His word is read and discussed each day and heart felt prayers are offered for others every day. You are to carefully build a foundation each day on “The Rock” because when the storms come that God in His sovereignty will allow, your house will stand. God is about to cut down that “other tree” the roots of which run through the whole earth and great will be that fall.
Matthew 3:10 “And now also the ax is laid to the root of the trees”
