The Climb

1 Corinthians 15:51 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed”

Change starts with a willingness to go through a process. His process (the cross), His thoughts, His ways (the mind of Christ) are the narrow Highways of the Kingdom ever calling us to exit the vast expressways of the natural life. Our calling and destination are the mountains of preparation. Life in the spirit is not about how fast I get there or what’s waiting for me on the other side but its all about the climb. You were never meant to climb alone. Some of you are “emotionally divorced” from those who have answered this Higher Calling. If you’ve asked God to show you where all the spiritual climbers and dreamers are, then I am confident you’ll meet them in your life experience, you’ll find them gathered as “like hearted” people in many small groups that form base camps. Here’s where you discover what’s required to ascend and you’ll be gathered often to share information and meet new climbers. God will see to it that you meet those climbers with unique abilities who have been to the top. They will tell you about other camps that are further up the mountain that are key points of rest between stages. They will tell you stories of rescuing those who began the journey before they were fully prepared and had to be escorted back down the mountain to base camp. Words will begin to fail them as they attempt to describe the feelings as they neared the summit for the first time. Even though their words were inadequate you will discover that they imparted a spiritual substance, a vision of their journey to your spirit. This vision will take on a like of its own as it expands in your heart and you will carry it and care for it on the inside until it becomes your spiritual reality. There is a day that is yet before you to reach the top and see with your own eyes the mystery of what God has prepared for the faithful and obedient.

Isaiah 52:7 “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
