Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you”
When the light of God first shines into our heart through our awakened spirit we instantly realize that we had it all wrong. God knew us, past tense. There is no buyers remorse. He purchased us with the very life of His Son. This knowing is very intimate. Our mind is renewed when we know ourselves and see ourselves as He sees and knows us. Every journey of faith begins with our embrace of something that goes beyond our understanding.
Jeremiah 18:2-4 “Arise and go down to the potters house, and there I will cause you to hear My words. Then I went down to the potters house, and behold, he was working at the wheel. And the vessel that he was making from clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he made it over, reworking it into another vessel as it seemed good to the potter to make it”
Every journey in the spirit begins with a single step of obedience. Your first destination is the “Potters House”. Here you learn the ways of the Father as He forms and fashions you for seasons of purpose and as those things are accomplished in measure, He reforms the soft clay of a soul submitted to His hand and creates yet again a new expression of Himself.
A word for His people: : “There is no comparison between the things I have prepared for you and the things you think you need. Come to the Potters House where the hardness of your heart will be softened in My presence. As you remain and abide you will lose sight of yourself and I will do a work in you that many will see. I will lift you and take you places, wide open places, high places where you can see with My eyes”
