2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”

How you see yourself in Gods eyes is so important because it is the foundation of how you see and minister to others. You don’t become a new person by changing your behavior. You discover the new creation person you already are in Christ, and you “become that” through a relationship of union and communion that gives expression to that new life.

Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me”

All the old things have passed away and all your old thinking must go or you will minister with a religious spirit instead of the Holy Spirit. You need “Spirit Eyes” to see people as God sees them. If you see them with natural eyes you will judge them and that puts you and them on the wrong side of the cross. God is not dealing with your sin or the sins of others through behavior modification because He’s already dealt with it through the Cross. Your flesh was too bad to be cleansed, it had to be crucified. The “Good News” is that you are free from religion and all about relationship. Your new life flows from the vine. Your life becomes fruitful as you see everyone God has placed in your life as a candidate for His Kingdom.

John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing”
