Psalm 90:12 “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom”

Would you break the Lords heart? His heart breaks when yours is divided. When you attempt to serve two masters then your heart is divided, and you are living in the permissible will of God and not the “Higher Purpose”. This post is an invitation to think deeply about your life and the critical decisions and choices that you will make during the first few months of this year. They will either result in business as usual or perhaps a “course correction” that causes you to live in purpose and not permission. A heart of wisdom will be the deciding factor.

James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him”

To ask for something is to humble yourself and admit you don’t have it. It can be a redefining moment that allows you to reach “escape velocity” and break free from the orbit of your natural life.

Proverbs 11:2 “When pride comes, then comes shame, but with the humble is wisdom”

When you bow your heart to God and remain in that posture, you will be given a wise heart. When your heart becomes wise then you become brave and have divine courage to do the things that God has called you to do. One principle of “Spirit Life” is that every choice you make will carry consequences that will have a ripple effect for months and even years to come. As you travel down the road of your life the days pass like broken white lines on a highway, their speed increases with every year that passes. Perhaps its time to exit and take the road less traveled through the wilderness of Gods preparation. Who knows, someone may be observing your direction and follow you as you exit the souls expressway to explore the Kings Highway.
