Revelation 3:18

“I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself …”

Revelation is gold that has yet to be refined. Once the Lord reveals something to your spirit then it must become the “sovereign reality” of your soul to be truly yours. Because time is short, the Lord desires to do a “quick work” to bring us to maturity, so the period between “revelation” and “testing and proving” seems to be minutes, hours or days. Your revelation must face and “Overcome” a situation for it to be your spiritual reality. There will be areas of your life that will be repeatedly tested until the Lord is satisfied with your “heart reaction”.

John 3:30

“He must increase, but I must decrease”

By divine design the fire of circumstance is meant to reduce you. What you receive in the secret place must be demonstrated in the fields of your life. The word of revelation that you receive is as a sword that has two edges, so it cuts “both ways”. It discerns your thoughts and intents as well as those to whom you minister. Its “sharpness” is designed to divide the soul life from the Spirit Life. Its ultimate aim is that you become a “life giving Spirit” both “in season” and “out of season”.

Hebrews 4:12

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”
