John 3:6-7 Jesus said “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, You must be born again”
Our fallen nature was born when we exchanged one voice, “Gods” for a tree with two fruit (good and evil). So we must be birthed (born again) into that realm of “One Voice”.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 “To everything there is a SEASON (fixed, set, or appointed time), and a TIME (duration) to every PURPOSE (pleasure; desire; a valuable thing; a matter, as something in mind) under the heaven, A TIME to be BORN…”
When we experience the “New Birth” we discover that we are alive in two realms, the NATURAL and the SPIRITUAL. We are given the power of CHOICE. We may continue to eat the two fruits of the NATURAL or be led by the ONE voice of the SPIRIT. Each of us came into the world in “Seed form”, NATURAL birth. Our DNA determines our BODY, our COLOR. The SOUL realm reveals that we have a certain TEMPERAMENT. We are all DIFFERENT. Each one of us has certain WEAKNESSES, and each of us has certain STRENGTHS. We are also influenced by the SPIRIT realm, the SPIRIT of those who have gone BEFORE us (both positive and negative), so judging somebody else’s struggle is dangerous because we don’t know the spiritual origin and history of those family choices.
James 3:5-12 “And so the tongue is a small part of the body yet it carries great power! Just think of how a small flame can set a huge forest ablaze. And the tongue is a fire! It can be compared to the sum total of wickedness and is the most dangerous part of our human body. It corrupts the entire body and is a hellish flame! It releases a fire that can burn throughout the course of human existence.
As I was writing this morning the Lord said be careful what you say. Only allow my voice to use your tongue (Blessing). When you speak from the soul realm of natural senses you are playing with fire. The power of LIFE and death is in the tongue. Speak from that still small voice of the Spirit. Don’t let it be drowned out by the noise of the soul.
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”
