Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion”

When does life begin? It begins at conception. Long before your natural birth you were conceived in the heart of the Father. You were created to reveal the image and likeness of the Father in the earth. Your prophetic destiny is to prevail and overcome from that place of divine union and authority (dominion).

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations”

How profound, “before I formed you … I knew you”. In the fall we have forgotten who we are and whose we are. We have forgotten the face of our Father. The origin of this fallen image comes from what surrounds us. The source of this new creation image comes from within and is formed by a spiritual relationship. To sin is to miss the mark. It is to take matters into your own hands to fulfill the promise of God. Using your wisdom and not His and using your strength and not His. This is a picture of the denominational church that has forgotten the face of their Father and is producing an earthly image to please the world.

Revelation 13:16 “And he caused all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads”

The Greek word for “mark” is “charagma” whose root literally mean character. Sin leaves a mark that over time stamps or etches a false image on our soul. The mark was in the forehead and the right hand. It is the beastly character of independence from God. It is in the forehead (human wisdom) and in the hand (human strength). We get to choose during our life which image is engraved on our immortal being. Here’s a word for someone.

“You have missed the mark because you have aimed with your head and not with your heart. Don’t allow anyone or anything to interfere with the full development of the life that has deposited and entrusted to you. I have not left you alone. I have given you a comforter who is calling you to the secret place. It is there alone that my life is formed. The world has a mark, but I have a crown. The crown I have for you has thorns that will pierce the natural mind with truths that only the eyes of your spirit can receive with understanding. I long to dwell in the hearts of men; not in buildings made with hands, not in a place with natural form but in the tabernacle of the heart where our union is born”
