Galatians 1:10 “Am I now trying to win the favor and approval of men, or of God? Or am I seeking to please someone? If I were still trying to be popular with men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ”

Sometimes I feel that my message is like fingernails on the Chalkboard of the Church world, trying to get everyone’s attention. I “see something” in the spirit, so I “say something” in the form of a warning. Mainstream Christianity has become self-centered rather than God centered. Its focus has shifted from pleasing God to accommodating man.

1 Corinthians 3:11 “For no one can lay any other foundation than what has been laid down. That foundation is Jesus Christ”

No longer willing to bear the reproach of men, we have begun “new construction” on an “old foundation”. This “other foundation” is the ever-shifting sands of human opinion. This wide path to destruction attempts to accommodate every belief system in the world. Rather than declaring the heart of the gospel that “you must be born again”, we now teach people methods of coping with the “old nature”. Any suggestion that change is possible and even necessary through the “new birth”, “water baptism” and “spirit baptism” is now being seen as judgmental to the human condition. In most denominations its optional for the individual believer to fulfill the great commission.

Joel 3:14 “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision”

Many are in the valley of decision, pondering whether to join the religious parade or stand on the rock and against the tide of human opinion. The wide path of “least resistance” is being offered by many denominations who have laid down their cross and joined the one world view. Life in the spirit is all about choices. The cost of following Jesus is going up. You are discovering that your choices either empower you or diminish you. Choose today whom you will serve. Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus, you soldiers of the Cross lift High His Royal Banner it must not suffer loss. Victory awaits all who answer the call of the Holy Spirit. Be counted among those who loved not their lives but followed the Lamb. You can be part of “One Way” or “One World”. You can’t have it “both ways”. Choose this day.

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”
