Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me”

We have the most amazing privilege and charge, to be the vessels through which God manifests the life of His Son in the earth. “I live yet not I”, that quote is the essence of the Gospel in five words. I am a dysfunctional Christian to the degree that I resist the call grow up into Christ in all things.

Ephesians 4:15 “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ”

Many believers are unknowingly living in opposition to that inner life. Few pastors accept this truth in its reality because it requires spiritual growth, maturity and accountability in every believer, not just leadership. It requires the Fivefold ministry to equip the saints for the present reality of this ministry.

Hebrews 5:12 “By now you should be teachers. Instead, you still need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word. You need milk, not solid food”

As my friend said the problem with denominational churches is no one ever graduates. The same handful of people teach year after year and the fields of the world that are ripe remain unharvested because the mandate to equip the saints for the work of the ministry goes unfulfilled, year after year. Imagine a school in the natural that did not hold regular graduations!

1 John 4:17 “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world”

Everything in my life and every season in my life is meant to adjust me to function in a greater measure of that perfect union. In the beginning of my walk, through dealings both big and small the soul is broken, and the spirit is released. The word becomes powerful and sharp and begins the process of dividing the soul (natural life) from the Spirit (supernatural life). I learn to become a partaker of the divine nature (Tree of Life). My heart now bows to the Holy Spirit and Christ is enthroned in me. The two become one as I am now Spirit led and my soul in perfect submission becomes the expression of that inner life. The revelation and manifestation of a totally present “Christ in You” is the hope of all creation.

Romans 8:19 “For the earnest hope of the creatures waits for the manifestation of the sons of God”
