1 Corinthians 13:13 “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love”

God wants us to have a “Close Encounter of the Third Kind”. Within us is the divine capacity to look beneath the surface of others and relate to their deepest essence. Something deep within us calls to something deep within them. It affirms love without conditions. We are being raised up as a company of people who will live the way God does. A people who will demonstrate a love that is not of this world because it belongs to a different place, a different dimension. The greatest lesson in spirit school is the Royal Law, the Law of Love. This is what our training is all about, learning the discipline of Love. As we walk in the light we see a clear contrast between human love and divine love. I will not frustrate the grace of God by offering anything less than what the Son has freely given to me. No matter what any man does to me, I will never do harm to him. In the attitude of my heart, I will imagine his highest good. If we try to protect ourselves and avoid the storms of life we will never produce this divine fruit of His Love. If we let the Holy Spirit have His way in us then our love will be transformed.

Isaiah 53:5 “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed”

You have not walked very far with the Lord if you don’t have wounds. The brokenness of these moments is where we have a close encounter’s of the “Love Kind”. We experience wounds of contrition, wounds of compassion and wounds that cause us to hunger and thirst. The Lord has many who desire to move in the authority of His Crown but few that love the passion of His Cross. Without His Cross there can be no crown. The Cross is His Crown in disguise.

John 13:15-17 Jesus said “For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you. Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them”
